'Boogie Woogie' back on small screen in December
It's official! Jaaved Jaaferi is all set to return to the small screen with one of the first and longest-running dance reality shows on TV — Boogie Woogie.
The show had debuted in 1995 with Jaaved, brother Naved and Ravi Bahl. The show will be back after a four-year breather with contestants aged between 6 and 14 years and is likely to replace Kaun Banega Crorepati 7 sometime in December.
It was earlier reported that though Ravi and Naved would be judging the show, Jaaved wouldn't be able to give time because of his movie commitments. But putting all speculations to rest, he said, "I never said I did not have time for the show as it would take just four days in a month. It was a creative call of the channel. So as soon as they approached me, I said, 'yes'. Boogie Woogie has been an integral part of my life and I have been associated with it for 15 years. Lots of memories..."
