The success of Sony Entertainment Television's Crime Patrol has inspired other channels to launch their own crime-based shows, highlighting real-life crime cases.

After Savdhaan India, which airs on Life OK, Gumrah - End Of Innocence on Channel V and Shaitaan on Colors, we have been informed that Zee TV is all set to launch a show based on the same concept.

ccording to our sources, "The channel has been planning to launch a crime-based show for the longest time now. Finally, they are ready with a show and will launch it in February-end or March-beginning. The show is currently titled as 'Taxi Cab Diaries' and will be aired twice a week. It will be produced by Zee TV itself. The show has five leads who will solve crime cases. Actor Srman Jain, who played Pracheen in Sony Entertainment Television's Saas Bina Sasuraal, will be one of the leads."
