Chaitanya Choudhary and Shubhangi Aatre have been more or less finalized to play the leads in Sony and UTV's upcoming fiction show..

Chaitanya Choudhary and Shubhangi Aatre we hear, are the favorites to play the protagonists in Sony Entertainment Television's upcoming fiction show!! The yet untitled show to be produced by UTV is the remake of the popular Tamil drama series, Metti Oli.

Metti Oli is the story of a father and his five daughters who lead a happy life within the limited income that they get. The five girls grow up believing that marriage is always a bed of roses. However, matrimony serves as an eye-opener to them.

Our source states, "Many known actors have been approached for the show. Chaitanya and Shubhangi have more or less been finalized, and if all goes well they will play the main protagonists. Shubhangi will essay the role of the eldest daughter who is very affectionate towards her sisters and father".

We tried contacting both Chaitanya and Shubhangi but they asked us to call later.

The production house plans to lock the entire cast soon. Few other actors who have been approached are Smriti Kalra, Aanchal Sabharwal, Anjali Abrol.

Shubhangi had to take a forced exit from Imagine's Do Hanson Ka Jodaa when she injured her pelvic bone. For Chaitanya, it will be a comeback on Sony after his stint as one of the protagonists of Aahat.
