Television writer Tuhin A. Sinha who has two novels (That Thing Called Love) and (22 Yards) behind him launched his third novel, Of Love and Politics, in June in Calcutta. On August 25, to celebrate the success of the book, producer-director and quizmaster Siddhartha Basu will read excerpts from it followed by a discussion.

Says Sinha, "TV writing has helped me in my career as author. It helps me think and write at a brisk pace - the reason why I have managed to write three best-sellers in as many years.”

His latest book is set against the backdrop of Indian politics and he claims it to be an unusual and a first-of its kind endeavor which despite being a fictitious story about relationships, fixes responsibility for some of India’s biggest political failings in the last 63 years.
