Pure Sin, a cookery show that focuses on desserts
Desserts are sinful for everyone. But this time, restaurateur, celebrity chef and author Shipra Khanna comes to your rescue with India's first cooking show, Pure Sin, especially based on desserts. After recently releasing her first cookbook, Shipra now brings her second cooking show.
What makes the show unique is that there will be no stereotypical dessert shown on it — every dessert will have its twist. Be it a triple layered barfi or a pan-flavoured rasmalai, things will be taught in simple ways. Also, to enhance the experience of the show, Shipra will don the avatar of a 'Love Guru', where she will not only give her personal anecdotes about love, but also give suggestions on the perfect dessert to make on different occasions. About her avatar, she says, "I've always been a sinner as I love desserts and now, I want everyone to sin with me by learning to make the desserts I am teaching on the show."
Pure Sin airs every Friday at 7 pm on a leading food channel.
