Too many cooks spoil the broth! The adage couldn't hold truer than in the bold TV show 'Ishq Kills', where many people are involved in the script department and ultimately, the writer Shagufta Rafique (who wrote the first few episodes) quit the show citing creative differences. Shagufta has written many Bollywood films and had ventured in writing for a TV show after a long time.

She says, "When I came on board, I was told it'd be about dark mature love stories that resulted in crimes. But soon, I faced pressure from the channel to write young love stories and make them peppier. This is not what I had signed up for. So I decided to walk out. Unfortunately TV in India is not able to experiment the way TV shows in abroad can."
