Price for offending Salman Khan? Pooja Bedi snubbed for 'Bigg Boss 5' finale
Pooja Bedi, one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 5, has been told by the channel to not attend the finale of show. Is this the price she has to pay for speaking her mind about the show and taking on its host Salman Khan?
Pooja Bedi caused a flutter among the dovecotes with some startling allegations and revelations about the show ‘Bigg Boss 5’ after her eviction. For one, she accused the show of favouritism, when she alleged that Mahek Chahal being allowed a re-entry into the house as a wild card entry reeked of nepotism. She also had some uncomplimentary things to say about the show’s host Salman Khan.
“Have been informed by channel that I'm not to attend finale, despite it being mandatory in my contract! Wonder why! Any guesses? :) :) :)” Pooja Bedi wrote on a micro blogging site.
When told that she despised the show’s anchor (read Salman Khan), Pooja Bedi replied: “If anchors can be unfair or awful to contestants, contestants have a right to speak up in their or their friends defence!”
Pooja Bedi is all the more surprised over the snub because she says she was earlier asked by the channel to do a medley at the finale but then told she’s not invited.
“I'm so amused! They'd asked me to do a medley for finale & suddenly backtracked saying I was not to attend! Weird!” Pooja wrote.
“Have asked channel 2 state reason I cannot b there at finale to cheer my friends on! Also, till yesterday I was 2 do a medley! What changed?” she added.
Pooja also clarified that she has nothing against Sanjay Dutt, the more regular host of the show.
“I adore sanjay dutt! Absolutely nothing against him! He ROCKS!” she said.
