Plans are afoot to make the sequel of last year’s superhit film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na .

Jai and Aditi’s complex love story ended with their return from honeymoon. It is now going to be taken forward by director Abbas Tyrewala in the sequel to ‘JTYJN’. The sequel’s title has not yet been finalized, but Tyrewala has an outline of the course the story is going to take.

In the sequel, Tyrewala tells a tabloid, the focus will shift to troubles in Jai and Aditi’s married life. One night, Jai gets drunk and ends up having a one-night stand with another woman. Thereafter, cracks appear in Jai and Aditi’s marriage and the two are on the verge of divorce.

It is confirmed that Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza will carry forward their respective roles from the first movie. Presumably, the other woman in the film will be played by Manjari Phadnis , who played Jai’s first girlfriend in ‘JTYJN’.

Besides the trio, the actors who played Jai and Aditi’s friends will also be part of the sequel.

Abbas Tyrewala has confirmed the project but will not start it right away. He will first work on his next film ‘1-800-Love’ starring his gorgeous wife Pakhi opposite John Abraham .
