Sujata Kumar, who is the elder sister of Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, has been receiving praises for her effective portrayal as Sridevi's elder sister in English Vinglish.

The actress is known for her roles in like Hotel Kingston, Bombay Talking on small screen. However, Sujata prefers to keep herself away from the current trend of shows on TV.

While, Bigg Boss has become claim to fame platform for everyone, Sujata questions about its social responsibility. "I don't understand the purpose of Bigg Boss. When it all about bitching, what is the social value of the show. Every child today watches Bigg Boss and there is no collective consciousness amongst the people," said Sujata.

"Every thought affects life and people are losing consciousness, in fact killing it. In the game of TRPs on TV, people can stoop down to any level," added the actress.

So, after doing some memorable work on small screen, won't you feel like coming back to TV? "Television has become boring for me. It doesn't excite me and I won't do anything which is not exciting," answered Sujata.
