Pankaj Bhatia to essay pivotal character in ‘Bani’

Having bowed down to the diktats of the Sikh community, the makers decided to go in for the change of title for the show, earlier titled “Gurbani” now rechristened as “Bani – Ishq Ka Kalma” being aired on ‘Colors’.

After facing a few initial teething problems, the show, “Bani” is off to a smooth start and has managed to grab the viewers’ attention with its taut storyline and stellar performances by some of the talented small screen actors. The show will now witness a new character entering the proceedings to spice up the things.

Actor Pankaj Bhatia, Vibhishan of “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev” fame, will soon be introduced by the makers in the show. Pankaj will essay the character of, soon to be introduced male lead, Sohum’s (Adhvik Mahajan), elder brother, Angad Singh Mann. His character in the show is a positive one. Pankaj will soon start with the shooting of his track.
