It’s all about TRP’s, when it comes to measuring the success or the failures of the shows. The recent SAB TV’s show “Tota Weds Maina” which was launched with much hype and fanfare and was slated to be a big one for the channel finds itself in deep crisis due to its poor and dismal ratings.
Having just started airing recently in the month of January 2013, the show is already facing the risk of being axed by the channel. Although no official confirmation has come from the channel’s end, there is a strong buzz about the show’s closure. Nothing has gone right for the show since its airing, as it has failed to live up to the viewers expectations.
Surprisingly no one from the star-cast has any inkling or idea about the channel’s decision. Actress Kavita Kaushik for one who had sacrificed by long her running show “FIR” for the sake of this new show was least perturbed about the show going off air.
In fact, when informed about it she lightly brushed aside the matter saying, if true, she will be pleased to take off for a vacation abroad as it has been eight long years since she has taken a break. In the meantime makers are adapting to desperate measures, such as incorporating some new tactics in the plot in order to give a fillip to the falling TRP’s.
