Although the show, “R K Laxman Ki Duniya” kick started with bright prospects, depicting the plight and day to day struggle of the common man, it somehow failed to maintain the desired tempo, losing track of the plot and the storyline, somewhere in between.
Launched with great fanfare and high expectations by Hats Off Productions, the show was a tribute to the work of the great cartoonist and creator of the common man, R K Laxman. But after the initial response and interest of the viewers, the show failed to meet the expectations of the audiences in the long run.
After contemplating to take the show off air, the final decision has been taken by the makers recently. The last of the show’s airing will take place in end March, anywhere between 22nd to 29th March 2013. However producer J D Majethia of Hats Off Productions was positive about the show having completed a run of 350 episodes, which was an achievement by itself.
