After successfully essaying a negative character role in his last show, “Chhal – Sheh Aur Maat”, actor Avinesh Rekhi, will once again be seen portraying a bad guy, in the ‘Colors’ show, “Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon”.
The entry of his character, Sultan, a gangster, will lead to the show taking a major twist and add more complications to the existing ones, in the lives of RK and Madhubala, essayed by Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami, respectively. It is left to be seen whether Sultan will prove to be a thorn in their path or be instrumental in bringing the estranged couple together once again.
Avinesh, instead of wanting to play the positive characters, is more attracted towards the charms of essaying negative ones. He cites examples of the Bollywood actors like Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn, who have been more successful, while playing the negative roles. So for Avinesh, bad is good.
