Actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who has been the face and the mainstay of the ‘Colors’ show, “Balika Vadhu”, having carved a niche with her role as Anandi, has all of a sudden decided to quit the show. The hectic work schedules and the unreasonable deadlines, have forced the actress to take this decision.
Pratyusha will be seen on the show till 4th March 2013, after which the channel will replace her with actress Toral Rasputra, who will step into the role of Anandi. Toral last worked in the Zee TV’s show, “Choti Si Zindagi”. It is now up to the viewers as to how they take to the new entrant.
Pratyusha and the channel, ‘Colors’, decided to part ways by mutual consent, without having any bad blood between them. The channel understood Pratyusha’s time predicament and hence decided to relive her. Well Pratyusha, you have done a fine job with Anandi’s role and FilmiTown wishing you all the very best for your future projects.
