After the before time completion of their Kolkata schedule, the unit and the cast of the Flying Turtle Films show, “Savitri” are back in Mumbai. Everybody had a whale of time shooting in Kolkata, a city which has a combination of old world and new world charm to it.
The schedule which was to complete by 13th February 2013, got wrapped up early by 9th February itself. The main lead pair, Yash Pandit and Riddhi Dogra, brought back sweet memories, of the city, shooting for their first time in Kolkata. Riddhi Dogra had her fill of puchkas, Mumbai’s version of pani-puris, along with her co-star Indrani Haldar. Riddhi had the opportunity to shoot with Indrani after a long time, since their show, “Maryada”.
Yash Pandit, on the other hand, got the taste of the city’s beauty, while riding on a bike for his scenes. He got the opportunity to bathe in the holy waters of Ganga River. Gorging on the various mishtis, specialties of Kolkata, was the other thing he indulged in. thereby adding to his weight.
