After tying the knot, newly married couple, Resshmi Ghosh and Siddharth Vasudev, is all set for starting their new phase of life. The couple, who hail from different parts of the country, had got married according to two different traditions, Bengali and Kashmiri.
For Siddharth it was a unique experience going through the Bengali rituals for their marriage. He had no inkling about any of the rituals like, varmala, boron and sindoordaan, which are conducted during the marriages. But he went through every ritual with interest and patience. There was a vast spread of Bengali delicacies like, alu dom, matar kachori and of course Bengali mishties, which Kolkata is famous for.
Most of the couples friends from the television field like, Mouni Roy, Sayantani Ghosh, Barkha Bisht and Jasveer Kaur, were there to bless the couple. Soon Resshmi and Siddharth will be heading for Kashmir, Siddharth’s hometown, for their honeymoon.
