She was only 16 years old when she entered the world of modeling and at the age of 18 years, she was crowned Miss India. Having achieved success at such a young age, glamour industry has no attraction for actress, Swaroop Sampat, who quit everything and opted for marital bliss with her husband, famed actor Paresh Rawal.
Recently on her visit to Ahmedabad, Swaroop shared the experiences of her life as a whole. Seen on the big screen after a long time, Swaroop Sampat, took up the role in the Gujarati movie, “Saptapadii”, only after being convinced about her role and her character. She placed her faith in writer, Chandrakant Shah’s capabilities, knowing that he will do full justice to her character.
Swaroop does not miss being in the limelight, as she is happy doing work behind the scenes. As it is, today’s scenario of television shows is not Swaroop’s cup of tea. According to her views, the soaps reeks of total artificiality, with woman all decked up in their finery, not only in their homes but even while sleeping. That is one of the reasons she has kept herself away from doing such types of shows. She feels that the lack of good writers is the cause of quality being compromised.
