It is a rare occurrence, that a television show has an animal playing a prominent role. But Siddharth Kumar Tewary wants to do things differently. In his new upcoming show, along with a child actor, Jannat Zubair, for the first time, an elephant will be seen playing a prominent character, similar to that of a hero.
The plot of this new show is based on the unconditional and undying love between, a human being and an animal. The show, which will be shot in the forest area, will highlight the relationship between a young Jannat and the elephant. The basic plot bears an uncanny resemblance to the yesteryears hit movie, “Haathi Mere Saathi”, but apart from the bonding part, the storyline is totally different from the movie.
This is the first time that producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary is bringing a concept like this on the small screen. He is hopeful that his new show will be equally accepted by the young and the old alike.
