Once a small little chirpy girl, Nanhi has now grown into a young budding journalist, Navika Bhatnagar, in the second season of the ‘Colors’ show, “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha”. The role is being essayed by actress, Jayshree Venkateramanan.
Navika is shown as a dynamic journalist, never afraid of conducting sting operations and taking up issues which are harming the society’s fabric. She has traits similar to her stepfather, Mohan Bhatnagar. Not only that, she also works in the same channel as her father, Mohan.
For Jayshree the role was challenging enough, as she turned to watching her journalists’ friends and TV news channels, for getting the feel of things. But her biggest source of inspiration was, actress Rani Mukherji’s role in, “No One Killed Jessica”, where the actress had portrayed the character of a news journalist, who proves to be instrumental in bringing the entire nation together, in order to get justice for a murder victim.
