Shooting in foreign locales is not always fun, as actor Jay Soni learnt the hard way, recently back from a 20 day outdoor shoot in the US, for his show, “Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki”, Jay Soni, had a not so memorable time, missing his home, family and food and his sleep.
The biggest problem Jay faced while staying in the US was lack of availability of Indian cuisine. Also once while shooting for a sequence he had to ride a pedicab, a similar version of a cycle rickshaw, but he had a run in with the law, when a policeman happened to ask him his license for driving the vehicle. Jay almost got arrested for the crime, had it not been for the timely intervention of the production people.
And finally the snow and the cold weather further added to his miseries. Jay was also deprived of his sleep due to the deadline of completing the schedule. The first thing that he wants to do after reaching India, is to make good his lost sleep.
