The new upcoming show on ‘Sahara One’, “Ghar Aaja Pardesi”, promises the viewers of total entertainment, with heavy duty drama and emotions, all rolled into one. The story, based in Banaras, is about the clash of moral values and traditions, of two different generations.
The show which has been shot on the locales of, London, Mumbai and Banaras, revolves around the character of, Bhavani Shankar Mishra, who is the head of a family, residing in Banaras. He is a man of strict principles, averse to any changes. The show will also focus on a girl (Ruchi Savam), hailing from London, and her struggle to adapt to Indian culture and its lifestyle.
The show, “Ghar Aaja Pardesi”, marks the return of producer-director Gajendra Singh, back to making fiction shows. So far he has always been known to have made non-fictional shows. The star-cast of the show has an interesting ensemble of actors like, Mahesh Thakur, Smita Jaykar, Anita Kulkarni and Vikram Gokhale. The show starts airing tonight, from Monday to Friday, at 8 pm, only on ‘Sahara One’.
