Sony TV’s laughter show, “Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe”, has done well to maintain its ratings on the TRP’s chart, with its popularity seeing a steady growth. The show which is currently being aired on Sundays, at 10 pm slot, is now all set to turn into a bi-weekly show, on every Saturday and Sunday from, 8.30 to 10 pm.
Currently the above mentioned slot is occupied by another popular quiz show, “Kaun Banega Crorepati 6”, hosted by Big B. The quiz show is scheduled to go off air from 8TH February 2013 onwards, and that is when, “Comedy Circus” will be moved into the vacant slot. Now the viewers will be in for a treat, as they get the opportunity of watching the show, twice a week.
There is also a slight change in the show’s format, the makers having roped in, stand-up comedian Rajiv Thakur, who will entertain the viewers by his act for the next twenty episodes. Rajiv will be partnered by a new face every week, with actors like Atul Parchure, Paresh Ganatra and Delnaaz Irani, having been signed, to play his partners.
