The mythological show on ‘Life OK’, “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev”, is going from strength to strength with each passing episode. The show which has grabbed the maximum eyeballs has gone on to become the flagship show for the channel, after its completion of 300 successful episodes recently.
The show has become a trendsetter with the other channels following the suit of making mythological shows, seeing the success, “Mahadev” has managed to achieve. It was a proud moment for its producer, Nikhil Sinha, who feels that the show has been accepted equally by the classes as well as the masses.
Nikhil attributes the success of the show to the entire unit and their team work. Mythological shows, if presented properly, have always managed to catch the fancy of the viewers, from the time immemorial. Ramanand Sagar’s, “Ramayan” and B R Chopra’s, “Mahabharat”, being some of the examples of the mythological shows doing well, not only in their original versions, but even in their remakes. And not only the elders, even the young generations of today, are finding a connect with these shows.
