Recently on watching the promos of the ‘SAB TV’ show, “Tota Weds Maina”, viewers were in for a surprise, as instead of actor Amit Mestry, they found Gaurav Gera, along with Kavita Kaushik, playing the main lead.
Initially the makers had announced about Amit Mestry being roped in to play the lead on their show. Amit was supposed to have returned to the small screen with this show after a long hiatus. The makers had finalized on Amit and also had a photo shoot done with him, for the hoardings publicity.
The exact reason for Amit’s ouster is not known yet. But it seems that some personal differences between the production house and Amit have lead to his walking out. According to some reliable sources, Amit has signed a Bollywood movie and due to his dates clashing with the television show, Amit preferred to exit from it. Hoping to see Amit back on small screen soon.
