Finally the D day has arrived, with Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman, hanging his boots and thereby ending his long standing association with the longest running crime show, “CID”. For the past fifteen years, Shivaji had breathed and lived the role of ACP Pradyuman, whose cult dialogues like, ‘Daya Darwaza Tod Do’ and ‘Kuch Toh Gadbad Hai’ finding instant popularity amongst the viewers.
In tonight’s episode, the nation will watch with a heavy heart, as ACP Pradyuman, unable to take the accusations hurled at him, will walk away in the oblivion. His team compromising of loyal officers like, Abhijeet and Daya, will be left tongue-tied. They will find themselves in a helpless situation.
But as the saying goes, that come whatever, the show must go on, viewers of the show will witness the charge being taken over by, ACP Digvijay. But will the new entrant be able to form the camaraderie, which ACP Pradyuman had managed to build over all these years with his officers. Will ACP Digvijay prove himself to be an able mentor and leader for his team? This only time will tell. Till then goodbye Shivaji Satam, your towering presence will be badly missed.
