It has been three years that the ambitious project, a mythological show on “Mahabharat” by producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary, was waiting for a takeoff. It seems that the wait is finally over, as news is that the shooting for it has already began, with the first schedule taking place in Jaisalmer.
The magnum opus show will have popular names of small screen, as well as new faces, essaying the characters. Actors Deblina Chatterjee and Shaheer Sheikh have been approached for playing the roles of, Draupadi and Arjun, respectively. Other characters will soon be finalized as talks are on the way.
The show is scheduled to go on air in mid-2013, provided everything goes on smoothly from here onwards. As of now the details of the show are strictly being kept strictly as secret. The makers, on their part, are keeping their fingers crossed for the smooth sailing of the show.
