Deepika Singh essaying the role of Sandhya in, Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions show, “Diya Aur Baati Hum”, is hospitalized with serious throat infection, for the past few days. Some days back, Deepika had complains about having pain in her throat. She got herself admitted in a nearby hospital at Mira Road. But with her condition deteriorating further, the doctors advised her to be shifted to Kokilaben Hospital at Andheri.
So severe was her infection that Deepika felt immense pain even while gulping her saliva down the throat. At the moment doctors have put her on heavy anti-biotic and have advised her complete bed rest. Doctors after monitoring the situation will decide on whether they need to perform surgery on Deepika.
With Deepika being rendered unavailable, the production house is in a dilemma, as they do not have sufficient backup of episodes for telecast. The creative team is planning a change in the track, which requires Deepika’s presence, to overcome the problem. The entire unit members and her co-stars have been paying her a visit at the hospital. Our best wishes are with Deepika for her quick recovery.

Terribly shocked to hear the news of Deepika admitted in Hospital, i am utterly disturbed hearingthis news, i am fasting today for her good health, I luv deepika very much and will pray for her in her tough time, I am praying whole day, Guys, plz pray to god for Deepika for her speedy recovery
