He was called Amitabh Bachchan of the Bhojpuri films, having churned out one successful film after the other. No actor has seen the kind of success that was enjoyed by Ravi Kissen during his stint with Bhojpuri films.
Recently the actor made a visit to his hometown, for promotion of a reality show based on cookery. Although he is not a part of the show, he has been selected to promote the show in Bihar, since he is known face of the state, having won many National Awards for his performances. Of late he has been busy with his Bollywood career, but given a right role he is all game for Bhojpuri movies.
Ravi has no qualms about showcasing his Bhojpuri roots, of which he is proud of. He is happy that representing Bihar, he has managed to carve a niche for himself, in Bollywood.
Ravi’s future plans are to produce a super hero film on the lines of “Spider Man”. For those unaware, Ravi has lent his voice for the Bhojpuri version of “Spider Man 3”, after which he got the idea to plan for super hero film. His future project titled “Makar Manav” film will soon go on the floors.
