Hectic shooting schedules, odd working hours and lack of proper food and rest, puts an actor’s health at great risk, as it recently happened with actor, Gurmeet Choudhary. Currently seen in, Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions show, “Punar Vivah”, Gurmeet, suffered from a severe chest pain, on the sets of his show.
After complaining of uneasiness, a doctor was summoned, who recommended immediate hospitalization for the actor. The unit people took him to the nearest hospital at Mira Road, where the shoot was taking place. An ECG was done on him, but the exact nature of problem could not be confirmed.
Not wanting to take any chance, Gurmeet was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where he got himself admitted. However after undergoing a series of tests, Gurmeet was allowed to go home. The doctors have pointed out his problem as a case of severe muscle spasm, due to which the pain shifted to the heart area. The doctors however have advised him complete rest for the time being.
