When a show meets with success, it is always the actors who reap the dividends. But has anybody given a thought, as to how in the first place do the actor got selected for the role, to enjoy the fruits of the show’s success. It is due to the efforts and hard work of the a person, who is termed as the casting director in industry’s definition.
One such person who has contributed silently to the success of many a show is, Ajaz Khan. It is solely due to his efforts and keen eye that viewers get to see, Kapil Nirmal in a rowdy avatar or Vishal Karwal as Krishna.
Coming from a non-filmy background, Ajaz had a strong inclination towards the entertainment industry. In spite of completing graduation in the science field, he took a risk by opting for glamour world. Starting with playing minor roles, Ajaz graduated to becoming a casting director with few of the production houses. Slowly and steadily he has made a name for himself.
His work includes, to shortlist and audition, the candidates he feels is suitable for a particular role. The list along with the video recordings is sent to the production houses and the channel, who then take the final call on selecting the characters.
