Accidents are a part and parcel of an actor’s life, which keep on taking place, given the nature of their work. Recently actor Nandish Sandhu was the unfortunate one who had to bear the brunt of an action sequence being shot between him and Shera, his co-actor from the show, “Phir Subah Hogi”.
The scene being filmed that particular day was a fight sequence between the two actors, in a fighting ring. Shera, who was supposed to block an incoming punch from Nandish, mistimed his action, resulting in Nandish fracturing his thumb.
In spite of being asked to go in for a body double, Nandish insisted on doing the action scene on his own. He has been advised to take a break for a few days by his doctor. But Nandish has taken the incident lightly, saying that these things keep on happening and one must move on with life.
