The current track of ‘Star Plus’ show’s “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai” is very much reminiscent of the yesteryear’s
movie, “Abhimaan”, where a jealous husband is unable to digest the fact about his wife being more successful and talented in the field of singing.
Similar to the movie, Virat too is overcome with jealousy, when he sees that Maanvi is more popular than him, as far as singing is concerned. With the singing competition track coming to an end, the creative team has handled the sensitive issue of professional differences with grace and dignity. They have given an interesting ending to the track highlighting the professional rivalry between husband and wife.
Coming up further in the show, Virat and Maanvi will be shown singing a duet in the final round, and with the winner’s name to be announced, both decline to accept the title of the winner, as they have managed to understand the real meaning of selfless love.
So it is the love that wins in the end. With the competition getting over, Apoorva and Shilpa Agnihotri’s, roles too come to an end. The episode featuring the singing competition’s final will be aired on 5th December 2012.
