Swastik Productions sign Meenal Patel for upcoming show

After the success of their show, “Navya” which was a story about innocent love, Swastik Production’s are gearing up with their new show, to be aired on ‘Sony Entertainment Television’. The show as reported earlier revolves around a Gujarati joint family, searching for a suitable daughter-in-law.

As per the latest news, actress Meenal Patel has been roped in to play a important character on the show. Meenal was last seen playing the role of, I M Virani’s mother, in “Mukti Bandhan”

Meenal has been finalized to play the role of grandmother of the male lead, in this new show. She begins shooting for her track from the first week of December 2012.

However she was unable to provide any further details about her role. Apart from Meenal Patel, other actors are on the verge of being finalized for this untitled show. The show is scheduled to be aired soon for the viewers.
