Currently the shooting of Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd show, “Diya Aur Baati Hum” has come to a standstill. But no worry for the viewers, as the show is not in danger of being pulled off air. The reason for the shooting to halt is due to non-availability of the lead actors, Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh, who are in London at the moment, participating in the shooting of ‘Star Parivaar Awards’.
Playing the roles of Suraj and Sandhya, Anas and Deepika, are required for almost each and every frame, on the show. And pertaining to their absence, the production house decided to take a break till the time they return back. The unit got to enjoy their break from 24th November to 27th November and normal shooting will start from the 28th November 2012.
However, to maintain the continuity, the production house had shot and maintained a bank of episodes which will be aired during such times. Till then it was a small vacation for the unit members.
