The production house, Miloni Pictures, was in news recently for the launching of their new show, “Tota Weds Maina”, for ‘SAB TV’. However for some unknown reason the project failed to take off resulting in the show getting delayed.
But now it seems that the show has got the go ahead from the channel for its telecast and will soon hit the small screens. The channel, ‘SAB TV’ is thinking of some programming changes to accommodate this new show. Its current daily comedy show, “FIR” is scheduled to be converted to a weekend show, paving the way for “Tota Weds Maina” in its slot.
But coming to the actual news, Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala of “FIR” has also been signed as the main protagonist for the new show, and this will lead to some queries regarding her current character.
Will she be able to balance two shows simultaneously or will her character from “FIR” be cut short? Another show which is under the channel’s scanner for a long time is “Lapataganj”, and may soon face the axe.
