Ankita Lokhande unhappy over the turn of events is contemplating to quit the show, “Pavitra Rishta”. Her decision to quit was long overdue, when another actor Sushant Singh Rajput made his exit from the show, last year. However at that time the production house somehow managed to convince her to continue.
Ankita who became a household name playing the character of Archana, has decided to put in her papers. She will now remain with the show for another three months. With the plot of the show taking seven month generation leap, Ankita is not comfortable with the idea of playing an elderly character, as reported to FilmiTown.
Post leap, Archana’s daughter Ovi will be shown delivering a baby, and Ankita’s character will be that of a grandmother. She had somehow agreed to continue playing the role of four grown up kids, and now as a grandmother, is too much for her to accept. Finally age factor counts and Ankita has an image to maintain.
