With her new show, “Anamika” soon to hit the small screens, Sonia Kaur, for one, is quite excited about her first fiction show. Her thrust with television started, with Sonia being one of the contenders on the ‘Imagine TV’s’ reality show, “Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge”, which was a nationwide search for Rahul Mahajan’s bride.
Sonia’s journey so far has been a smooth one, with the reality show giving her recognition and fame. She shared her experiences about her first show, where she took an instant liking for Rahul Mahajan. Although she was disheartened by Rahul’s words, who said that she generated brotherly feelings in him. But a friendship with Rahul was formed which has lasted even after all these years.
She thanks him and the channel ‘Imagine TV’ for getting her the required recognition, due to which she was able to get a role in this new tele-series, “Anamika”.
Talking about her priorities, Sonia at the moment wants to focus completely on her career and other things like marriage can wait. Maybe she is still waiting to find her Rahul, whom she met and lost.
