As already witnessed by viewers, Simar and the entire Bharadwaj family, is going through tough times, with Khushi taking over the reins of Bharadwaj household, in “Sasural Simar Ka”. Khushi is trying to make things difficult for not only Simar, but even the baby, whom she has delivered through surrogate procedure.
Simar and the baby will be badly ill treated by Khushi, who will physically abuse the baby, to obtain sadistic pleasure, in seeing Simar’s helplessness. However not one to give up, Simar will handle the situation with courage, in not only managing the household jobs, but also taking care of the baby.
An aggravated Khushi, will then turn to her boyfriend, Veeru, for help. Veeru , who is in a complete drunken state, on moving out of the Bharadwaj house, will bump into Roli. This will become the turning point of the show, with Veeru developing feelings for Roli.
