Currently seen playing the role of, Dr. Ashutosh, on Balaji Telefilms’ show, “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge”, Sharad Kelkar is one actor who has managed to equally balance his time, on television and big screen. Having done quite a few Hindi as well as Marathi films, the actor was recently seen in, Vikram Bhatt’s new release, “1920 Evil Returns”.
The movie sees him playing the role of an evil spirit, and his co-stars in the movie are Tia Bajpai and Aftab Shivdasani. Although a small role in terms of length, Sharad has got noticed by the audiences. He had a wonderful experience working with the unit and his co-stars, and Vikram Bhatt was of immense help for Sharad.
However it became tough for Sharad to manage his shooting schedules, as “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge”, being a daily soap, he was required to shoot continuously, due to which his schedules clashed with that of the movie.
There was a time when Sharad had to shoot non-stop for 48 hours, without proper food and sleep. Suffering from knee pain only aggravated the matters for Sharad. However all is well that ends well, for it was worth every effort put in by Sharad Kelkar for his role.
