It is Diwali time and the celebrations are the order of the day. Every channel is trying to put their best foot forward and come up with something big and unique to match the occasion. ‘Star Plus’ has planned for a grand week -long celebrations, starting from 5th November to 9th November 2012, by showcasing a bouquet of mythological stories, having their relevance with Diwali.
A new show will be enacted by a set of actors each day, which will highlight the message of goodness triumphing over the evil. The stories, that have been shortlisted for the occasion are, “Katha Krishna Ki”, Katha Ganesh Ki”, Katha Ram Ki” and Katha Lakshmi Ki”. At the end of the week, a gala episode of, “Shubh Deepavali”, is also planned for its viewers.
Actors who will be seen portraying different characters in these stories are, Sandhya Suraj and Jigar, will essay the roles of, Sita, Ram and Lakshman, respectively. Shaleen Bhanot will be seen playing the role of Ravan and Khushi has been roped in to play the role of, Lakshmi.
For the final episode of “Shubh Deepavali”, Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha, will be seen making their presence felt. The show, Sunfeast Presents, “Star Diwali Har Chehre Par Muskaan”, airs at 7.30 pm every day, from 3rd November to 9th November, 2012, on ‘Star Plus’.
