She started her acting career at a very ripe age of 11 years, and is a veteran of having acted in almost 50 Rajasthani movies. She is none other than, the current favorite mother-in-law, Neelu Vaghela aka Bhabho, of “Diya Aur Bati Hum”, fame. Neelu entered the television scene by default, as she never intended to be a part of, this industry, in the first place.
She was very much content with her career as the actor/producer of Rajasthani films. Having acted in five Gujarati movies, she feels a strong connection with the Gujarat state, famous for its Navratri and dandiya celebrations. She has relatives staying all over the different states of Gujarat, like Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surat and Junagadh. She enjoys being there during the festival period.
Today she is one of the most popular and known names of the television screen. But most of the time is spent away from the family due to her hectic schedules and deadlines demands of the small screen.
But once home, it is only family for her. As per Neelu, television has a wider reach and scope for actors, rather than films. For her Mary Kom is an ideal role model for all the young girls, who want to achieve something in their lives.
