Finally the divorce of the most talked about couple for last couple of years, Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary, has come through. They were in the news for all the wrong reasons, with Shweta alleging about Raja, being an alcoholic and a wife beater. The Bandra Family Court finally gave its consent for the couple to lead their lives separately.
The divorce proceedings were not so smooth with the couple fighting like cats and dogs. The custody of their only daughter Palak has gone to Shweta Tiwari. Raja can meet his daughter, provided Palak wishes and agrees for it. The couple is happy that all the mental torture has finally come to an end.
The bitter separation proceedings which were going on for last six years, finally ended on Wednesday. Raja does not intend to challenge the court’s decision and has accepted whatever has come his way. Being single, he plans to stay that way at least for the time being.
