In the midst of heavy duty emotional drama of surrogacy issue, his role provides the much required comic relief to the viewers of, “Sasural Simar Ka”on ‘Colors’.
Ssumier S Pasricha, essaying the role of Shailu, in the show, is happy that his character has been appreciated by the audiences. He feels that the issue of surrogacy taken up by the makers is the need of the time. Surrogacy, which is a boon for mankind, will help parents, not being able to have children of their own, realize their dreams.
The current track shows, Shailu being excited for his brother Prem, opt for surrogate child. He too wants his wife, Pari, to go in for the same. However, his wife is not too keen to have a child, as she feels, that kids are, botheration. This will lead to some hilarious moments and situations, between the couple.
Shailu will be shown approaching a babaji, for his help. Babaji gives him a vibhooti, which Pari will refuse to apply, fearing her skin getting spoiled. Will Shailu succeed in convincing Pari and have final say in this matter?
