Film City in Mumbai has been facing lot of trouble, off late. According to our reliable sources, it is learn that the members of FWICE, Federation of Western India Cine Employees have stalled shooting for both, TV as well as Films. The governing body has taken the decision of calling for a non co-operation movement.
The reason for this is that few robbers broke down into the sets of “Uttaran”, a show on ‘Colors’ produced by FilmFarm Productions. The robbers tried running away with the valuables, and that was when they were caught red-handed by the security personnel. The cops were called in and in the custody; the robbers were hit very badly.
Prem Singh, the general Secretary of FWICE, who is quite agitated says that a non co-operation movement is being launched, just for the sake of workers’ safety. This matter has also reached the Mantralaya. Keep reading FilmiTown for more developments.
