As earlier reported, Film Farm Productions, makers of, “Uttaran”, are planning to churn out a new show, this time for, ‘Life OK’ channel. The show will see the return of, Riddhi Dogra and Angad Hasija, back on the small screen.
The show titled, “Savitri”, is loosely based on the mythological epic of, Satyavan-Savitri. Though the new show is not a mythological one, its story plot is same as the famous saga, of a wife bringing back the life of her husbands, from the jaws of death.
Handsome and charming, Yash Pandit, is slated to play the role of Satya, while Riddhi essays the character of Savitri. Angad Hasija fills in as, Satya’s friend, and has a parallel role as Yash. The makers are planning to launch this show on a grand scale and the show is scheduled to go on air by Diwali, Novmber, 2012. The shooting of the show is taking place in full swing.
