Not many viewers may be aware of the fact that “Riyasat” is one of the last films featuring the first superstar of Indian movies, late Rajesh Khanna, is to be released soon. Vishwajeet Pradhan, one of the actors featuring in this movie, has some fond memories about working with the star.
“Riyasat”, which is produced by Vijay Sirohi with Ashok Tyagi helming the direction department, has the late actor playing the role of a business magnet. Vishwajeet, one of the last few actors having the opportunity to work with him, essays the role of his solicitor, Sandeep Marwah. He got to learn a lot from him about the acting methods.
Whenever Vishwajeet managed to give a good shot, Rajesh Khanna would show his appreciation, albeit in a different manner, either with a faint smile or by winking his eye. Amongst many of his memories, one that Vishwajeet fondly recollects is, about the love of sweets by the late actor.
Whenever Rajesh Khanna visited the city of Hyderabad he bought sweets from a specific shop. He briefed Vishwajeet about, if and when he got a chance to visit Hyderabad, to try out the delicacies from the shop. Working with the legend will always remain special for Vishwajeet Pradhan.
