Barun Sobti’s role as Arnav Singh Raizada, in the ‘Star Plus’ show, “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon”, made him win the applaud and the hearts of his viewers easily. His portrayal as an angry young man in this show, which is a joint production of, IMRC Entertainment and 4 Lions Films, and is sizzling on screen chemistry with, Sanaya Irani, made the show one of the most watched.
Barun’s popularity soared high in a short period and this resulted in, Barun, bagging a role for a movie. In order to accommodate the shooting schedule for the movie, he had to take a short break from his show, with the mutual consent of his production house. And as promised by him, after the completion of his movie shoot, he was back to the show.
Although the show has managed to pick up with his return, there comes news about, Barun putting in his papers and quitting the show. This sudden act by their lead actor has put the makers in a fix. It seems that the creative heads are now working on track to justify his exit from the show.
Also as Barun requires some time off for promoting his movie, he may not be seen on the show for some time. The channel and the makers on their side are trying hard to convince Barun in staying back.
