It is a common knowledge as to how all the members of the Gokuldham Society on the show, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”, celebrate each and every festival with rigor and energy.
Hence with the ongoing Ganpati festival, their preparations are in full swing too. Noted actor, Paresh Rawal, too will be making an appearance during their festival celebrations, as he is on a promotional spree for his movie, “Oh My God”.
But as the viewers are aware that no festival of theirs is complete without the minor hiccups, this time too there will be some drama that will unfold during the festival. People have seen how, Mr. Bhide, secretary of Gokuldham Society, is a man of orthodox thinking.
After having given the permissions for celebrating Ganpati, with pomp and fanfare, Mr. Bhide will try to follow some procedures based on superstitious beliefs. This move is opposed by the society members. How Bhide overcomes his misconceptions, is what forms the crux of the episode.
