Deepshikha to play mother to Aamna

Deepshikha Nagpal was seen in films such as “Partner”, “Baadshah” and “Koyla” for naming a few and often, there is a comparison of her looks with that of Parveen Babi. Now, after a break of 3 years, Deepshikha is back on Television. In the new ongoing tele-serial “Honge Juda Na Hum” which airs on ‘Sony TV’ , she would be playing the role of Aamna Shariff’s mom.

Deepshikha, who is 30, jokes that she can’t imagine herself playing a mother’s role. Since the makers of this serial are close friends of hers, they have managed to convince her, for essaying the character. However, when she was approached, Aamna was nowhere in the picture. A new face was being searched for playing the role of her daughter.

Last year, the movie “Yeh Dooriyan” was produced by Deepshikha and this was a flop at the Box Office. However, even due to this, the confidence of the actor has not been lowered. Now, she has plans for a comedy movie.
