The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, brings along with it joy and happiness, and the energy levels of the people are at its peak during the celebrations. But as one grows up and is caught in the vivacious circle of struggle for time and space, we tend to lose the charms of the enjoying the little joys that the festival brings along with it. Childhood period, in all its innocence, is the best to enjoy the actual fervor.
Some of the television actors go back in their memories of their childhood period, wherein they have sweet memories related to the Ganpati celebrations. Actor Swapnil Joshi, having grown up in Girgaon, considered as the main hub of the festival, recollects about loving to decorate the Ganpati idol, as a kid. In spite of his busy schedule, he never forgets to take at least two days off, for his favorite god.
Another actor, Aditya Redij, recounts his years at the college in Pune, where the festival is celebrated with full joy and fervor. Adita recalls about visiting the pandals throughout the night, with his close friends, returning back only at dawn.
Actress Soumya Seth has fond memories of the childhood years, where she loved the people dancing all the way, while bringing the idol to the pandal. She herself used to dance, standing in her balcony.
